Absentee Ballots Available for State General Primary Election, Supervisors of the Checklist to meet on 9/4

The City of Rochester announces that absentee ballots for the State General Primary Election, scheduled for September 10, 2024, are now available for qualified individuals. Those requesting an absentee ballot can contact the City Clerk’s office at (603) 332-2130 or by visiting the city’s official website at www.rochesternh.gov.

In preparation for the upcoming election, the Supervisors of the Checklist will hold a session at the Rochester City Clerk’s Office, located at 31 Wakefield Street, to accommodate voter registration. This session is scheduled for Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

Please note that the deadline to change your party affiliation for the State Primary Election has passed; it was June 4, 2024. If you are uncertain about your party affiliation status, you may verify it by visiting the State’s website at https://app.sos.nh.gov.

Applicants registering to vote are encouraged to bring proof of identity, age, citizenship, and domicile. Qualified applicants who do not possess or bring these documents may still register by signing an affidavit attesting to their qualifications.
