City Council appoints Leslie Horne to fill vacant Ward 2/Seat B position

On Tuesday, June 18, City Council held a special meeting to conduct open interviews with candidates seeking to fill the vacant Ward 2/Seat B position.

3 candidates participated, including Leslie Horne, Michael Dionne, and Raymond Turner. All candidates summarized their interest and experience and answered a series of questions.

Ultimately, Leslie Horne was appointed to fill the vacant Ward 2/Seat B position on Tuesday, July 2. Immediately following the decision, City Clerk Kelly Walters conducted the oath of office and Horne took his place on the dais.
