The City Clerk’s Office for the City of Rochester has released the unofficial results of the September 8, 2026 New Hampshire State Primary Election, divided by party, as well as a preliminary account of citywide voter turnout.
There were 17,992 registered voters recorded at the end of Election Day. 5,295 ballots were cast, resulting in a 29.4% voter turnout. Turnout was higher than the last two primaries, which was 26.2% in 2024 and 23.1% in 2022. Ward 1 had the highest turnout at 33.4%. There were 212 absentee ballots requested, with 181 received.
