DPW to replace a hydrant and valve at 9 Forest Park Drive on 10/19, water to be shut down temporarily

Published on

The Utilities Division of the Department of Public Works will be temporarily turning the water off in the area of Forest Park Drive on Thursday, October 19th between the hours of 8:00 am and 1:00 pm.

The reason for this shutdown is to allow a crew to replace a hydrant and valve at 9 Forest Park Drive. During this time, water customers will experience little or no water pressure.

As a result of this work, customers may experience air or some discoloration. This discoloration is from naturally occurring minerals that have precipitated in the water lines. If needed, please run a cold water tap for a short time to clear your water.

For questions or concerns, please call the Department of Public Works at (603) 332-4096.
