Economic Development welcomes Any Eventz LLC to Rochester

The City of Rochester Economic Development Department is pleased to welcome Any Eventz LLC & Transportation & Party Supplies to Rochester. The business is located at 17 Farmington Road, Unit 5, and offers party supplies and event planning, as well as specialized student transportation.

The family-owned business started as an in-home business for Steve and Lyn McKenney in March of 2021. In a short 18 months, the couple realized they needed additional space. According to Steve, “we both moved to Rochester at fifteen years old and have a lot of history here. We wanted to locate our business here.”

The business has grown from a single car to 25 vehicles with 20 drivers. They held a Grand Opening in early November and have been busy ever since, especially with student transportation. Lyn and Steve developed a mission statement for the transportation side of their business, which is “transporting safely and socially responsibly.”

Their transportation services include providing overflow, special education, and out-of-district transportation for school districts. Lyn was previously the Transportation Operations Manager for Seacoast Learning Collaborative, so area school districts already know her.

According to Lyn and Steve, Any Eventz just secured a contract with the Hampton School District to transport students. They anticipate additional district contracts in the future, especially since the districts are already familiar with their work.

The party supply and event planning side of the business offers a range of services, including consultations for events such as weddings, birthday parties, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, etc. They are happy to be involved in as much or as little as clients desire and will work with clients to ensure their event is successful. Any Eventz is able to supply tents, music (DJ or band), bartender, decorations, and transportation. They have a range of party supplies for sale including helium balloons, invitations, themed paper goods, and more.  In addition, they are happy to deliver balloon bouquets and other packages.

“We’re excited to welcome Steve and Lyn to Rochester,” said Jenn Marsh, Assistant Director Of Economic Development. “Any Eventz provides unique services and fills a need in Rochester. We’re happy they chose to locate their business here.”

Steve and Lyn have goals of providing charter transportation such as party buses and are looking into having limousines as well. They also want to increase their school bus transportation, and ultimately would like the event planning services to be a “one-stop shop” for events that include attire, bakery/catering, flowers, music, etc.
