Government, Education Channels launch for Comcast subscribers 12/4

Starting December 4, 2020, Comcast cable subscribers will be able to view the Rochester Government Channel on channel 22 and the Educational Channel on 95.

The channels remain available to Atlantic Broadband Customers, Government Channel on 26, Education Channel on 25.

Many of the Rochester public meetings are broadcast live and have several repeat broadcasts on the Rochester Government Channel. Meetings include City Council, Planning Board, Police Commission, Zoning Board of Adjustment, Codes and Ordinances Committee, Public Safety Committee, Public Works & Buildings Committee, and the Rochester School Board. 

The channel also airs special informational programming, as well as public service announcements, and contact information for city departments.

Don’t have cable? City meetings can be live-streamed on the city’s website, where you can also find an archive of previous meetings and additional city-produced content.
