Ice Arena welcomes Isobel Cup Champion Taylor Wenczkowski 6/27

The Rochester Ice Arena will be hosting an event featuring Isobel Cup Champion, Taylor Wenczkowski, on Sunday, June 27 from 1:30 to 3pm. The Isobel Cup, the championship trophy of the National Women’s Hockey League, will also be on display.

“We’re excited to welcome Taylor to the Ice Area,” said Cindy Lamie Rochester Recreation Department. “The public is encouraged to attend, get photos of the Isobel Cup, and meet Taylor in person.”

Taylor Wenczkowski is an American ice hockey player who currently plays for the Boston Pride in the National Women’s Hockey League. On March 13, 2020 the Boston Pride and the Minnesota Whitecaps faced off for the Isobel Cup. The Pride defeated the Minnesota Whitecaps 4–3, making them the first NWHL franchise to win two Isobel Cups.

The Rochester Ice Arena is located at 63 Lowell Street. Visit rochesterrec.com or call (603) 332-4120 for more information.
