National Night Out to return 8/2, organizers seek vendors and volunteers

Rochester’s National Night Out will be held on August 2nd from 5:30-8:00pm at the Rochester Common.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

The event will also feature an after-hours movie hosted by Guyer Travel International from 8:30-10PM.

Organizers are still looking for interested service providers, food vendors, and family-friendly activities. If you are interested in offering a provider table or food vendor space, please contact the event coordinator for registration information.

For more information about the event, please contact Nicole Rodler, Rochester Police Department, at (603) 330-7149 or nicole.rodler@rochesternh.net.
