Historian, researcher, and author Patrick O. Connelly will present “Introduction to the Territory and Township of Rochester” on Tuesday, August 18, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Rochester Elks Lodge, 295 Columbus Ave.
Connelly, a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with degrees in History and French, has spent decades researching Rochester’s earliest records, maps, land divisions, and settlement history. He is the author of Rochester, New Hampshire: Territory to Township, 1620–1799 and In Their Own Words: Transcription and Research of the Original Records of Colonial Rochester, New Hampshire, 1722–1799.
The presentation is open to the public and free to attend. Coffee and light refreshments will be available.
