Based on the works of the legendary children’s author, Seussical weaves together some of Dr. Seuss’s most iconic tales, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, and JoJo, the young boy who discovers the power of imagination. When Horton hears a tiny voice coming from a speck of dust, he vows to protect the microscopic Whos who live there—even when no one else believes him.
With catchy songs, larger-than-life characters, dazzling costumes, and plenty of Seussian silliness, Seussical is a celebration of friendship, courage, acceptance, and believing in yourself. From the Jungle of Nool to the tiniest speck of dust, audiences of all ages will be swept into a world where anything is possible. Our RPAC Youth MainStage will present their production of Seussical Jr. on November 12, 14, and 15 – a 60 minute version of the dazzling Seussical musical! Youth MainStage shows feature youth performers, ages 8-17. This program gives participants instruction with a professional production team and experience performing in a fully-realized show (costumes, set, lights, etc.) on our historic stage!
