Overnight Water Shutdown Planned for Industrial Way Area During Pump Station Maintenance 12/2-3

The Rochester Department of Public Works will temporarily shut off water service in the areas of Industrial Way, Ten Rod Road, Daytona Drive, Thomas Street, Evergreen Lane, Yvonne Street, Darrell Street, Capitol Circle, Concord Way, and Ebony Drive from 10:00 PM on Tuesday, December 2nd to 1:00 AM on Wednesday, December 3rd.

This shutdown is necessary to perform maintenance on the Industrial Way Pump Station. During this period, residents may experience little or no water pressure.

Following the work, some customers may notice air in the lines or temporary discoloration caused by naturally occurring minerals that settle in the system. If this occurs, running a cold water tap for a short time should help clear the water.
