Recreation Department reminds seniors about various activity options

The Rochester Recreation Department would like to remind Rochester seniors about various upcoming program offerings.

The Rec. is offering 45-minute time slots for seniors to sign up and stay active, in a climate-controlled environment, Mondays and Wednesdays. 

“Whether you like to shoot basketballs, walk the court, or play tennis/pickleball, we are giving you the time to do so,” said Cindy Lamie, Program Coordinator. “The ball is in your court!”

The programs are available to Rochester residents 50 and up. 1 sign up weekly. Bring your own equipment, if needed. Staff would also like to remind seniors to wear athletic footwear and comfortable clothes. Masks are required for everyone in the Community Center.
