Rochester Historical Society and Museum to host free film screening on 6/9

The volunteers at the Rochester Historical Society and Museum welcome the public to enjoy a free film screening on Thursday, June 9th at 7pm.

Local historian Bob Griffin will be screening two films, ‘The Famous Scenic Theater’ and ‘The Devastating Fire of 1947’. Both presentations are informative and are sure to bring back memories.

Griffin is a lifelong resident of Rochester, president of the Historical Society and Museum, and produces informative monthly videos of Rochester’s rich history.

The Rochester Historical Society and Museum is located at 58 Hanson Street. Street parking is available. There is also free parking in nearby municipal lots. Visit www.rochesternh.net/history to learn more.
