A message from the Rochester Veterans Council:

CALLING LOCAL CONTRACTORS & VOLUNTEERS — HELP A VETERAN!

The Rochester Veterans Council is looking to build a network of local contractors, skilled tradespeople, and volunteers who are willing to lend a helping hand to disabled and aging, less mobile veterans in our community.

Sometimes, a veteran simply needs a little help with things that have become difficult to manage on their own, such as:

🔨🔨 Light home repairs
🌳🌳 Yard cleanup & maintenance
🍂🍂 Seasonal cleanup
🧹🧹 Minor household projects
🪚🪚 Small carpentry or handyman jobs
❄ Snow removal
🏠🏠 Other basic home maintenance needs

You don’t have to be a contractor to make a difference. If you have some time, useful skills, a truck, a lawnmower, or simply a willingness to help, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re looking for people who want to give back to those who have served our country. If you’re a contractor, business owner, tradesperson, veteran, community volunteer, or just someone willing to lend a hand, please reach out to the Rochester Veterans Council. We are compiling a list of resources to have when we get contacted by someone needing assistance.

Interested? – Go to the Rochester Veterans Council website and complete the form.

Please share this post and help us build a community of volunteers ready to Serve Those Who Served.

Thank you,

Carlton Cooper
