Rochester Historical Society and Museum to host two free presentation on 5/12

The volunteers at the Rochester Historical Society and Museum welcome the public to enjoy two presentations that are sure to bring back memories.

On Thursday, May 12 at 7 pm, local historian Bob Griffin will host ‘Then & Now’, an interesting look back giving attendees the opportunity to view old pictures of downtown locations and compare them to their current counterparts. The second presentation will be ‘Business of Yesteryear’, a look back at the businesses that used to call Rochester home.

Griffin is a lifelong resident of Rochester, president of the Historical Society and Museum, and produces informative monthly videos of Rochester’s rich history.

The Rochester Historical Society and Museum is located at 58 Hanson Street. Street parking is available. There is also free parking in nearby municipal lots. Visit www.rochesternh.net/history to learn more.
