A message from the Rochester Public Library’s monthly newsletter:

April showers bring May towers of new releases!
Read on for what we have coming soon…

NEW FICTION

This is the perfect time to park yourself on a bench at Rochester Common and enjoy some spring reads! Fresh fiction titles this month include Ironwood by Michael Connelly, The Divorce by Freida McFadden, The Final Target by Nora Roberts, The Calamity Club by Kathryn Stockett, The Midnight Train by Matt Haig, The Daisy Chain Flower Shop by Laurie Gilmore, The Things We Never Say by Elizabeth Strout, Rules of Engagement by Tom Clancy, and Platform Decay by Martha Wells.

NEW DVDS

Upcoming DVD releases include the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s Reminders of Him, plus Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, Scream 7, the new Dracula film, and many more. Bonus: If you don’t feel like heading out to the theater to see the popular new Ryan Gosling movie Project Hail Mary, you can already place a hold on our eventual DVD copy. And, of course, you can also place a hold on Andy Weir’s amazing book, which served as the source material for the movie!

WANTED: DVD DONATIONS

If you happen to be spring cleaning and wondering what to do with your gently used DVDs, consider bringing them to us at the Main Desk! We can accept one box or bag of donations at a time for space reasons, and we’re particularly low on high-quality DVD donations for our year-round sale. Of course, we’re also happy to accept fiction or nonfiction books in great condition, as long as you don’t mind whether we sell them, add them to the collection, or place them in the free library outside.

Thank you in advance for your donations!
