The City of Rochester is pleased to share an update on the ongoing upgrade and refurbishment of the Spaulding High School Athletic Fields.

The project continues to see progress with significant work underway, as the nearly $5 million upgrade moves forward.

The improvements will provide Spaulding High School athletes with an upgraded athletic complex, including a new track, drainage system, improvements to other track event areas, regrading and resodding of the football field, new goal posts, fencing improvements, softball field maintenance, a new concession stand, and new restroom facilities.

The project is being fully funded through a legal settlement with Juul Labs, related to concerns over the company’s marketing practices targeting youth. No local tax dollars have been used to finance this work.
