Spaulding High School Advanced Drawing Class engages in immersive art experience

Published on

The Art Department at Spaulding High School is pleased to announce that the Early College Advanced Drawing Class recently participated in an art-making event, hosted by the Rochester Performance and Arts Center (RPAC), in downtown Rochester.

The event provided an immersive platform for students to explore various drawing materials and a wide array of paper types. Students were tasked with capturing light on forms, figures, and faces.

According to Spaulding High School art teacher, Jennifer Daly, the event allowed the Early College Drawing Class to prepare and plan for upcoming lessons.

“Throughout the day, our students were immersed in color, texture, and props, fostering an environment to encourage their creative instincts,” said Daly. “Several snapshots of the event showcase their enthusiasm and dedication.”
