Tree Raffle to Support Downtown Businesses

Published on

Rochester Main Street is holding another holiday raffle to support downtown businesses. To enter, email a $25+ receipt from any downtown business. The winner, picked at random, will receive a Christmas Tree decorated with a variety of gift certificates, valued at over $600.

“With Covid-19, businesses are hurting more than ever,” said Jennifer Marsh, Economic Development Specialist, City of Rochester. “Main Street wanted a way to support downtown businesses this holiday season. We hope this raffle will encourage people to shop local.”

The tree is decorated with gift certificates to multiple downtown businesses including Metal Heads, Riverstones Custom Framing, Fallen Leaf Bistro, Sweat Peaches Candy, Smitten Yarn Co., Mitchell Hill BBQ, Winjammers Seafood Restaurant, Lilac City Grille, Papaya Thai, and many more.

To participate in the raffle, send a photo of a $25+ receipt to director@rochestermainstreet.org. Include your name and contact phone number. The receipt must be from a business in downtown Rochester, within 7 days of entry.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age. There are no limits on how many receipts can be submitted by one person. One email per receipt.

The winner will be drawn on Tuesday, December 22nd at 5:30pm on the Rochester Main Street Facebook page.

“We’re drawing the winner’s name just in time for last minute Christmas gifts,” said Marsh. “This is such an easy way to support downtown businesses and get the chance to win over $600 in gift certificates!”
