Water Service Interruption Scheduled for Union Street Parking Lot Area on 6/30

The Department of Public Works will be working on essential infrastructure upgrades in the Union Street Parking Lot on Monday, June 30, 2025.

As part of this project, water service will be temporarily shut off in the Factory Court/Union Street Parking Lot area beginning at 6:00 AM and is expected to be restored by 1:00 PM the same day.

This shutdown will impact water service to properties located at 69–71 North Main Street and 59–63 North Main Street. During this period, customers may experience little or no water pressure.

Following the restoration of service, some residents may notice air or discoloration in their water. This is caused by naturally occurring minerals that may become unsettled in the water lines during the work. Running a cold water tap briefly should help clear the water if discoloration occurs.

For questions or concerns, contact the Public Works at (603) 332-4096.
