What to expect at Rochester Pride on 8/27

Published on

The 6th annual Rochester Pride is set to return to Central Square on Saturday, August 27th from 1-4pm. The event is free and open to all.

The mission of the event is to promote unity, visibility, inclusivity, and equality – as well as uplift local businesses and organizations that stand with the LGBTQ community of Rochester.

According to organizers, the 2022 event will expand on the format introduced last year, featuring a few speakers and entertainment. They will also be reintroducing some community partners and downtown businesses.

Schedule of events:
  • 1:00pm – Pride Begins (welcome, tables open)
  • 1:30pm – Speeches
  • 2:00pm – Live Music from Pink Blazer!
  • 2:45pm – Dancing
