Rochester Main Street is pleased to announce that The Dynasty Restaurant and Moe’s Italian Subs have reopened to the public. Both restaurants suffered extensive damages and have spent the last several months making repairs and preparing to reopen.

The Dynasty Chinese Restaurant has been serving the greater Rochester area for over 30 years and offers Szechuan and Cantonese cuisine. Their hours are Sunday-Thursday, 11:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., and Friday & Saturday, 11:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Their popular buffet hours are 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. for lunch, and 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. for dinner. For the time being, the restaurant is closed on Mondays, however, owners anticipate returning to their former 7-days-a-week schedule in the future.

Dynasty owner Danny Yong said, “We are thrilled to be open and serving our friends in the Rochester area once again. Everyone has been asking when we will be open again, and we are very happy the day has finally arrived!”

According to the City’s Assistant Director of Economic Development, Jenn Marsh, after cleaning the damage caused by the fire and water, repairs and upgrades to bring the kitchen up to current codes were necessary. “The Dynasty has been a fixture in Rochester for many years, and we are happy to see them back open again.”

Moe’s Italian Subs has also been serving the greater Rochester area for decades, offering a variety of popular Italian sandwiches and sides. Their hours are Monday-Friday 10:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Marsh describes Moe’s as a “staple of the downtown area” and states their opening day was a great success. “There were people lined up out the door the day they reopened. We hope customers will continue to support them.” In a recent article in Foster’s Daily Democrat, co-owner Shawn Hopper said “we are so grateful for the community support.”
