Chamber of Commerce announces Downtown Tree Lighting Ceremony on 12/6

Published on

The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce is pleased to light up the season with its annual Holiday Tree Lighting. The Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Central Square in downtown Rochester. Generously underwritten by Lighthouse Credit Union, this festive event will mark the first lighting of Rochester’s holiday tree, kicking off the 2024 holiday season in style.

In addition to the tree lighting, the ceremony will feature a variety of family-friendly activities. Attendees can enjoy a reading of The Night Before Christmas, along with dance performances, caroling, and more. Complimentary cookies, hot chocolate, and cookie decorating stations will be available to add to the holiday cheer. And, of course, there will be a special visit from Santa Claus!

For more information about the Holiday Tree Lighting, or for details and entry forms for Rochester’s “Holiday Parade of Lights” on Sunday, December 8, 2024, please contact the Chamber office at 603-332-5080 or visit www.rochesternh.org/treelighting or www.rochesternh.org/parade.
