Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce seeks Annual Award Nominations

The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for the Chamber’s Business of the Year, Non-Profit of the Year, Educator of the Year, and Rochester’s Citizen of the Year awards.

  • The Business of the Year Award recognizes a Chamber member business in good standing that has demonstrated excellence in its industry and made substantial contributions to the Rochester area. Businesses are encouraged to submit a nomination for this prestigious award.
  • The Non-Profit of the Year Award honors an organization that has made a lasting impact on the Rochester community. Organizations are encouraged to submit a nomination for this prestigious award.
  • The Educator of the Year Award recognizes a local educator who has demonstrated excellence in their profession and made meaningful contributions to their students and the community.
  • The Citizen of the Year Award is presented to an adult in Rochester or northern Strafford County who has made lasting contributions to the community beyond the normal duties of their paid position. Activities should be significant, ongoing, and recent enough to have current relevance.

These prestigious awards will be announced and presented at the Chamber’s Annual Awards Celebration on May 21, 2025. Recipients will receive an award at the event and will be recognized in the Chamber newsletter, E-blasts, and media coverage. Additionally, awardees will be featured on the Chamber website, acknowledged at various events throughout the year, and invited to appear in the annual Rochester Holiday Parade, produced by the Chamber.

Nominations must include:

  • The name and address of the business, organization, educator, or individual being nominated
  • A description of their distinguished activities and contributions, along with supporting documentation
  • Contact information for the individual or organization submitting the nomination

Completed nomination forms should be sent to the Awards Committee at the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, 18 South Main Street, Rochester, NH 03867, or emailed to lring@rochesternh.org by March 10, 2025.
