The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce is pleased to congratulate and announce this year’s scholarship recipients. The three recipients who each received a $1,000 scholarship award towards their future academic endeavors are: Kylie Bieniek of Coe-Brown Northwood Academy, Nina Hann of Prospect Mountain High School, and Noah Pinkham of Spaulding High School.
- Kylie Bieniek is a graduate of Coe-Brown Northwood Academy and will be attending Southern New Hampshire University in the fall to pursue a degree in Biology. Upon graduating college, Kylie hopes to pursue a career in the medical field where she can make a meaningful impact by serving the healthcare needs of the Rochester community.
- Nina Hann is a graduate of Prospect Mountain High School and will be attending The University of Alabama, pursuing a degree in Project Management. After graduating from college, Nina hopes to help companies and clients stay organized, improve efficiency, and successfully prepare for challenges.
- Noah Pinkham is a graduate of Spaulding High School and will be attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering. Following college graduation, Noah plans to pursue a career in astronautics, focusing on the development of extraterrestrial robotic systems.
Students eligible for the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce scholarship must be graduating, high school seniors who are either employed by or have a parent employed by a company that is a member of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce. The scholarship is awarded and payable to the institution in the second year of attending a full-time college, university or technical school.
Chamber Member businesses are provided the opportunity to become Chamber Scholarship Champions by donating towards the Chamber Scholarship Fund enabling the Chamber to provide scholarships annually to graduating high school seniors. Thanks to their contributions, this program has made a difference in the lives of many students by assisting them with funds to take the next step toward their academic and career goals.
The Chamber wishes to recognize and thank the following Member businesses that contributed to the Chamber Scholarship Fund. This year’s Chamber Scholarship Champions were Ace Handyman Services, Cinco’s Cantina, First Seacoast Bank, Granite State Credit Union, Granite Steak & Grill, Healey Auto Repair, Hervey’s Tire Company, Laars Heating Systems Company, Lighthouse Credit Union, Life Balance Counseling, Coaching and Wellness, Profile Bank, The Brunch Club, Waste Management, and Wit-Way Supply, Inc.
