Main Street Holiday Raffle: Win $250 Gift Card!

Published on

Rochester Main Street is holding a holiday raffle to support downtown businesses. To enter, email a receipt from any downtown business. The winner, picked at random, will receive a $250 gift card, courtesy Rochester Walmart.

“With Covid-19, businesses are hurting more than ever,” said Jennifer Marsh, Economic Development Specialist, City of Rochester. “Walmart wanted a way to support independent businesses this holiday season. We thank Walmart for donating a gift card to this raffle and encouraging people to shop downtown.”

The raffle was originally conceived during a meeting with three major Rochester retailers, the Chamber of Commerce, Rochester Main Street, and the city’s Economic Development Department.

“It’s great that a big retailer is thinking creatively and trying to push business downtown,” said Todd Radict, Skeletone Records. “Our downtown businesses are struggling and this raffle is a great way to encourage people to shop small.”

To participate in the raffle, send a photo of the receipt to director@rochestermainstreet.org and include your name and contact phone number. The receipt must be from a business in downtown Rochester, within 7 days of entry, and total at least $25.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age. There are no limits on how many receipts can be submitted by one person. One email per receipt.

The winner will be drawn on Wednesday, December 9th at 5:30pm on the Rochester Main Street Facebook page.
