Absentee Ballots for State Primary Election are Available

Rochester City Clerk Kelly Walters reminds voters that Absentee Ballots for the September 8, 2020, State Primary Election are now available in the Rochester City Clerk’s Office.

Any registered voter who will be out of town on Election Day, or who cannot make it to the polls because of a disability, religious observance, due to employment obligations (for the purpose of an absentee ballot request, the term “employment” shall include the care of children and infirm adults, with or without compensation), or any reason relating to COVID-19, may request an Absentee Ballot from the City Clerk’s Office in person, or by mail. Forms can be downloaded from the Secretary of State’s website: http://sos.nh.gov/

Office Hours are as follows:
8am to 9am – Reserved for seniors and high risk individuals, regarding COVID-19.
9am to 1:00pm – Open to all customers.
1pm to 2pm – CLOSED.
2pm to 5pm – Open to all customers.

The Rochester City Clerk’s Office is located in Room 105 of City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester NH 03867. Applicants will be asked to wear masks and socially distance. Masks will be available for those in need. Visit www.rochesternh.net or call (603) 332-2130 for additional information.
