Public Library Presents: A Percy Jackson Extravaganza in Anticipation of “Chalice of the Gods” Book Release

Published on

The Rochester Public Library invites young readers to attend the Percy Jackson Extravaganza, on Saturday, September 23rd, in anticipation of the upcoming release of “Chalice of the Gods” by acclaimed author Rick Riordan.

The extravaganza offers a unique opportunity for participants to immerse themselves in the beloved series, partake in discussions about the books, enjoy activities, sample snacks (in the signature blue shade), and connect with fellow readers who share enthusiasm for the book series.

“Rick Riordan’s books have a broad appeal, including for reluctant readers,” notes Amy Lemelin, Teen Librarian at the Rochester Public Library. “We enjoy creating moments to celebrate with our patrons.”

Geared toward kids and teenagers aged 10 to 18, the Percy Jackson Extravaganza is a celebration of literature, community, and shared interests. As young readers eagerly await the release of “Chalice of the Gods,” this event provides a platform for them to unite, revel in the enchantment of storytelling, and connect with fellow readers.

For more information about the Percy Jackson Extravaganza, contact Amy Lemelin at the Rochester Public Library, at amy.lemelin@rochesternh.gov or visit www.rpl.lib.nh.us/teens.
