Rochester Main Street to host community planting event on 5/31

Rochester Main Street seeks volunteers to assist with a community planting event in Central Square on Friday, May 31, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Volunteers are invited to help plant annuals around the Parson Main statue and in the hanging hay baskets along the fence of Central Square. This initiative aims to enhance the appeal of downtown Rochester, fostering a welcoming environment for both residents and visitors.

Participants are asked to meet at the Parson Main statue at 3:00 pm. Although organizers will provide some small tools, volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring gloves, small shovels, etc. All are welcome. No RSVP is required.

For general inquiries, contact Carole Glenn at carole.glenn@rochesternh.gov. Rochester Main Street is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Visit www.rochestermainstreet.org to learn more.
