Published on

The Rochester Opera House presents The Wizard of Oz, a delightful stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s timeless classic, featuring the unforgettable musical score from the beloved MGM film.

Follow Dorothy Gale, a young girl living on a Kanas farm with her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry who dreams of escaping her mundane life. After a twister hits the farm, Dorothy and her cherished dog, Toto, wake up in a new technicolor world, the Land of Oz. Skip down the Yellow Brick Road to meet Dorothy’s new and wildly lovable friends Scarecrow, Tinman, and the Cowardly Lion, and listen to many recognizable, timeless tunes such as Somewhere Over the Rainbow, If I Only Had a Heart, and We’re Off to See the Wizard.

The Rochester Opera House is located at 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester, NH. Visit www.rochesteroperahouse.com or call (603) 335-1992 for tickets and additional information.
