On Tuesday September 22, 2026, at approximately 1:06 PM, Rochester Police received a report of a motor vehicle complaint for a White GMC work van that keeps going off the roadway into the dirt driving erratically. The vehicle was traveling on route 16 but exited and was located on Gonic Road after striking another vehicle. Rochester Fire and Frisbie EMS responded to the area of Gonic Road for the report of a motor vehicle collision.
Upon arrival, Officers located a 2013 white GMV Savana Van and a black Jeep Gladiator that had collided. Initial investigation shows that the GMC van did not stop at the Gonic Road/Route 16 on/off ramp intersection light, colliding with the Jeep Gladiator.
The driver of the GMC van was identified as: Tyler Omeara Age: 40 of Barrington, NH. Omeara sustained minor injuries from the collision and was transported to Frisbie Hospital. Tylers vehicle was towed from the scene.
The driver of the Jeep Gladiator was identified as: Kristian Nadeau Age: 41 of Barrington, NH. Nadeau sustained minor injuries from the collision and was transported to Frisbie Hospital. Nadeau’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
Omeara was arrested and charged with the following offenses:
- Driving under the influence second offense (RSA: 265-A:2,I(A)
- Alcohol interlock motor vehicle not equipped with interlock (RSA: 265-A:37,I)
- Reckless Operation (RSA: 265:79,I), Reckless Conduct-Deadly Weapon (RSA: 631-3)
- Failure to yield at stop or yield sign (RSA: 265:30).
Omeara was bailed on personal recognizance bail with a court date scheduled to appear in 7th Circuit District Division Rochester on October 13, 2026, at 8:30 AM.
