Chamber of Commerce holds ribbon cutting for Jersey Mike’s Subs

Published on

On September 25, the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand opening of Jersey Mike’s Subs, known for its fresh-sliced, fresh-grilled subs, now open at 155 Marketplace Blvd in Rochester.

Jersey Mike’s Subs, with more than 4,000 locations open and in development, continues to serve authentic fresh-sliced, fresh-grilled subs on in-store baked bread—using the same recipe since 1956. Passion for giving in local communities is reflected in the company’s mission statement: “Giving…making a difference in someone’s life.”

Franchise owner Matt Goyette is hosting a grand opening and fundraiser from Wednesday, September 25, to Sunday, September 29, to support Spaulding High School. Customers who receive a special fundraising coupon, distributed through a grassroots effort prior to the opening, can make a minimum $3 contribution to Spaulding High School in exchange for a regular sub. A coupon is required for eligibility.

“Jersey Mike’s Seacoast is so grateful to grow with another location here in Rochester,” said Goyette. “For grand openings, we partner with our local schools to support the community’s finest—the children. Legend Subs hopes to continue providing both sustenance and support to Spaulding High School and the community at large.”

Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations across the country have raised more than $135 million for local charities. In March 2024, during the company’s 14th Annual Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving, $25 million was raised for over 200 local charities.

Jersey Mike’s Subs is open 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, seven days a week. For general inquiries, contact (603) 509-9419. For more information, visit jerseymikes.com or follow Jersey Mike’s on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X.
