Chamber, DPW present Homeless Center with donations

Published on

The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce Holiday Events Committee was pleased to partner with the Rochester Department of Public Works to conduct a collection drive for the Homeless Center for Strafford County as part of their holiday events this year. Various items were collected, including snacks and art kits for the children, new sheets and pillows, soap, wipes, washcloths, and much more.

A bay at the Rochester Department of Public Works was dedicated to collecting these donations for the homeless shelter from November 16 through December 16, 2020.

“The Rochester DPW Staff, led by Claire Blanchette, was very happy to coordinate this event with the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce and the Homeless shelter.  We were all touched by the outpouring of donations from our community,” said Lisa Clark.

The Chamber expresses its sincerest thanks to all who made contributions to this year’s collection and in giving to those in need during this holiday season.
