City to host ‘Community Coffee’ and ‘City Chat’ on 11/4, Public encouraged to attend

The City of Rochester’s Public Information Manager is hosting two community engagement meetings on Thursday, November 4th in the James W. Foley Memorial Community Center. Residents, volunteers, and representatives from Rochester-based businesses and nonprofits are encouraged to attend.

  • Community Coffee is a 1hr event held every first Thursday at 9:30am in the Community Room, on the 1st floor of the Community Center. The purpose of the event is to encourage businesses, organizations, and volunteer groups to come together, introduce themselves, and share updates regarding various efforts occurring around the city. Free coffee is available, courtesy of Potter’s House Bakery & Cafe.
  • City Chat is a chance for residents, business owners, and volunteer groups to meet informally and chat with the Public Information & Community Engagement Manager for the City of Rochester. Meetings take place in Suite 135 of the Community Center (Rochester Museum of Fine Arts) every first Thursday from 10:45-12pm. The public is encouraged to attend. No RSVP is required.

The James W. Foley Memorial Community Center is located behind Spaulding High School at 150 Wakefield Street. Enter the building at Entrance A. No RSVP is required.
