Coming soon: 5th Annual Community Photography Show

Volunteers at the First United Methodist Church and Rochester Main Street are pleased to announce the 5th Annual Community Photography Show.

According to organizers, there is still time to submit photographs to the contest. Up to 3 photos may be submitted by each photographer. Categories include People, Scenic, Animals, Photos by children under 12, Photos by youth aged 13-18, and Miscellaneous.  

Registration forms and instructions are available at the First United Methodist Church Welcome Center, located at 34 South Main Street. Entries will be accepted April 19-22 from 9am-1pm and 6pm-7:30pm in the same location.

There will be a public reception and awards ceremony on Friday, May 13 at 7pm in Hurd Hall, at the Rochester First United Methodist Church. The guest presenter this year will be John Gisis, FAA licensed drone photographer.

The photography exhibit will remain on display in Hurd Hall until June 11.
