Cornerstone VNA Offers FREE Webinar on Advance Directives on 4/16

In recognition of National Healthcare Decisions Day on April 16th, Cornerstone VNA is offering a free “lunch and learn” webinar for community members on the topic of Advance Directives.

The webinar will be held on Tuesday, April 16 from 12:00-1:00pm. Learn how to inform family, friends, and health professionals about the kind of health care you want and who will make decisions for you if you are too ill to speak for yourself by using legal documents called advance directives. This special webinar will be presented by Cornerstone VNA Social Worker, Anna Shultz, LICSW, CMC, who will help attendees learn the types and resources available to get their advance directives completed.

Julie Reynolds RN, MS, Cornerstone VNA President/CEO, emphasizes, “Community education lies at the heart of our mission. It is crucial to empower individuals to take charge of their medical care and ensure their healthcare preferences are honored, particularly as their health conditions may change.” As part of National Health Care Decisions Day, local health care organizations like Cornerstone VNA are actively advocating for Advance Care planning throughout the month of April.
