Eastern Propane & Oil donates $29k to Veterans Count

As we prepare to show our respect and appreciation for all who have served this great nation on November 11, Eastern Propane & Oil donated $29,422.59 to Veterans Count. This donation is the result of Eastern’s donation of one penny for every gallon of propane that was delivered by its five Veterans Count branded delivery trucks during their last fiscal year.

“As we celebrate ninety years in business, we also reflect on the support we are able to offer the communities that we serve,” said Chuck Clement IV, Chief Technology Officer at Eastern Propane & Oil. “Our penny-per-gallon program supporting Veterans Count is a program Eastern is extremely proud of. The work that Veterans Count does to not only support veterans, but also their families is truly extraordinary. We would not be able to make this donation without the support and loyalty of our customers, many of which are veterans themselves, and for that we are truly grateful.”

“Roughly ten percent of Eastern Propane & Oil’s workforce are U.S. veterans. They’re making deliveries on the road with pride, and we can see why,” said Pamela Hawkes, Chief Development Officer for Easterseals NH, VT & Farnum. “They work for a company committed to serving New Hampshire service members, veterans, and their families on every level. Easterseals NH Veterans Count is grateful for Eastern Propane & Oil’s generous support.”

Eastern Propane & Oil also offers a Hometown Hero discount on both fuel and service repairs to help all Active-Duty Military, Veterans, and First Responders save a little during the colder months.
