Rochester Mental Health Alliance recognized by Governor’s Recovery Friendly Workplace Initiative

The Rochester Mental Health Alliance (RMHA) was recently recognized by the Governor’s Recovery Friendly Workplace (RFW) initiative with a special designation. RMHA is committed to fostering a healthy, safe, and stigma-free environment for both the community and its members. As part of this dedication, RMHA proudly participates in the New Hampshire Recovery Friendly Workplace (RFW) program.

This initiative aligns with RMHA’s core values of building community connections, providing resources, and promoting recovery at every stage of life. Through education, advocacy, outreach, and support, RMHA works to reduce stigma and encourage recovery from substance use disorders.

According to organizers, RMHA strives to create an inclusive, supportive environment that prioritizes the well-being of individuals affected by mental health and substance use challenges. The members of RMHA are committed to challenging and dismantling stigma around these issues by providing education, resources, and fostering a culture of understanding.

As a proud RFW participant, RMHA encourages both employers and employees across all communities to seek help and support without fear of judgment. The goal is to offer practical tools and resources to create workplaces that are supportive of recovery and mental health.
