Virtual forum to feature State Rep., Senate candidates

The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce and Rochester Listens will present a candidates forum for the state Senate District 6 race as well as state representatives races for Rochester districts at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19 via Zoom video conference.

This forum is open to the public and admission is free. To register, visit rochesternh.org/candidatesforum.

State representative candidates will present their positions and answer questions from a media panel. This will be followed by candidates for state Senate District 6 with incumbent Sen. James Gray (R-Rochester) and challenger Christopher Rice (D-Rochester) in the same format. Questions will also be taken from those in attendance during the event via the Zoom chat as well as via email to events@rochesternh.org prior to the event. The forum will be moderated by T.J. Jean of Frisbie Memorial Hospital.

The forum will be recorded and broadcast following the event on Rochester’s Government Channel 26, the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce website and Facebook pages of the Chamber and Rochester Listens. It will be rebroadcast several times prior to Election Day on Nov. 3.
