Winners Announced for Paint the City Blue Decorating Contest

Published on

The Committee for Rochester’s Paint the City Blue event was pleased to hold its 3rd annual Paint the City Blue Decorating Contest.

The Paint the City Blue event recognizes National Thank a Police Officer Day, which was Saturday, September 18, and is a collaborative effort of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, Rochester Main Street, Rochester Rotary Club, Holy Rosary Credit Union, Rochester Elks Lodge #1393 and Groen Construction, to show appreciation to the Rochester NH Police Department.

The Decorating Contest was open to residences and businesses to show their support of Rochester’s men and women in blue by decorating their home or business with “anything blue”, including lights, bows, wall clings, ribbon, garland, and signage and uploading photos with an entry form to compete for cash prizes sponsored by Hervey’s Tire Company, Inc.

The 1st place residential winner of $250 is Al Leeman, and the 2nd Place residential winner of $150 is Forrest Davis, both of Rochester. This year’s winning business is McGroen Partners, LLC located in Rochester at 120 Washington Street, Suite 302. They will receive a plaque to hang in their business, and also a complimentary E- Blast promotion, sponsored by the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce.

Congratulations to all of this year’s decorating contest winners!
