Make a plan to vote in the NH State Primary on 9/13

Published on

The Rochester City Clerk’s Office is reminding voters to make a plan to vote in the NH State Primary on Tuesday, September 13th. Polls are open from 8am to 7pm.

According to Kelly Walters, Rochester City Clerk, voting can feel daunting or confusing to anyone new to the process. Last year, the City of Rochester assembled a user-friendly, easy-to-use website that aims to assist new and first-time voters. The website includes information on how to register, find your ward by street address, look at sample ballots, and find polling locations.

“The purpose of our website is to assist anyone looking to participate in the upcoming elections,” said Walters. “Voting is an important civic duty and we want to help make your voice heard.”

Visit www.rochesternh.gov/vote to learn more. The City Clerk’s Office is located in City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester, NH 03867, open Monday through Friday, 8-5pm. Call (603) 332-2130 or visit the City Clerk’s website for inquiries, assistance, and additional information. Visit the NH Secretary of State’s website for additional information and resources.
