National Night Out: 8/6 City Council meeting pushed to 6:30 PM

On Tuesday, July 2, Mayor Paul Callaghan announced that the City Council will delay the start of its August 6th meeting from 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm to encourage elected officials to attend National Night Out.

Rochester’s National Night Out is part of a nationwide celebration aimed at enhancing police-community relations and promoting crime prevention. The event will feature over 20 local organizations and businesses, local food vendors, live music, a “touch-a-safety-vehicle” area for young children, and various family-friendly activities.

National Night Out will take place from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Spaulding High School “Triangle,” also known as Torr’s Park.
