Notice of Public Hearing: Expansion of the Downtown Commercial Zone

Notice is hereby given that the Rochester City Council will conduct a PUBLIC HEARING on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 6pm in Council Chambers, City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester, NH relative to the following matter:

AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 275 OF THE GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF ROCHESTER REGARDING THE LOCATION AND BOUNDARIES OF ZONING DISTRICTS 

The Rochester City Council will conduct a public hearing to take citizen input on whether to amend the Zoning Map to convert certain properties from Residential-2 to Downtown Commercial. 

Copies of the proposed Resolution are available in the City Clerk’s Office.

Citizens are invited to attend the PUBLIC HEARINGS and to ask questions or otherwise speak on the foregoing proposal.
