Police arrest Farmington man suspected of robbing Hannaford Pharmacy

Around 7:00 pm on April 8, a male entered Hannaford Supermarket on Milton Road, went to the pharmacy, displayed a handgun, and demanded prescription medication. The pharmacist complied and the male exited the store. No injuries resulted.

Around 10:00 am the next day, Rochester Police received a call describing a male near the DOT shed (off the Spaulding Turnpike Connector) matching the description of the person involved in the Hannaford pharmacy robbery.

When Police arrived in the area of the DOT shed, they located the male and identified him as Ryan Wilkinson, 41, of Farmington.

Wilkinson was arrested on an active warrant, charging him with robbery. Wilkson was transported to Strafford County Jail and will be arraigned at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 10, in Strafford County Superior Court.
