Rogue Goat Apprehended by Rochester Police near Highland Street

On the morning of Saturday, April 5, a Rochester Police Officer responded to the area of Highland Street in East Rochester for a report of a goat on the loose.

It was reported that the goat may have been hit by a vehicle and injured. After searching the area, Officer Noah McCann located the goat, who did not appear to have been hit by a vehicle and did not appear injured.

Due to his training, Officer McCann was able to build a rapport with the goat and eventually took him into custody. The unidentified goat was transported to the NHSPCA in Stratham for protective custody.
