NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Rochester City Council will conduct a PUBLIC HEARING on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester, NH relative to the following matter(s):

  1. RESOLUTION GRANTING COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION TAX RELIEF TO THE PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 45 AND 55 NORTH MAIN STREET AND 8 BARKER COURT UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF RSA 79-E IN CONNECTION WITH A PROPOSED REHABILITATION PROJECT
  2. RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISION OF WARD BOUNDARIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 3 OF THE CITY CHARTER

The Rochester City Council will conduct a public hearing in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 31 Wakefield Street, Rochester, NH, to take citizen input on the following questions:

The Rochester City Council, pursuant to the provisions of RSA 79-E:4, II, will conduct the PUBLIC HEARING to take citizen input on the questions of whether:

  1. There is a public benefit to granting the requested tax relief and, if so, the duration of any Community Revitalization Tax Relief Incentive
  2. Revise the six ward boundaries consistent with Exhibit A of the Resolution

Copies of the proposed Resolutions are available in the City Clerk’s Office.

Citizens are invited to attend the PUBLIC HEARING(S) and to ask questions or otherwise speak on the foregoing proposal(s).
