Seniors: Join Forest Society for a guided walk of Champlin Forest Reservation

The Rochester Recreation Department welcomes seniors aged 50+ to join Forest Society naturalist and Senior Director of Education, Dave Anderson, for a guided, easy-going tour of the Champlin Forest Reservation, across from Skyhaven Airport.

The tour will follow wooded roads on gentle terrain while participants learn about the history of the 307-acre Champlin properties. Anderson will talk about the forest, trees, and wildlife habitats while leading an enjoyable, comfortable walking pace.

The walk will take place on August 23rd at 10 am and last for approximately 90 minutes. Click here to register online. Contact the Recreation Department at (603) 332-4120 for general inquiries and additional information.
